About Us

ParoPet started with a walk that went wrong. A strong dog, a back-clip harness, and an owner being towed down the pavement with both heels dug in. The dog was not being difficult. The equipment was working exactly as it was built to work, and it was built to pull.

We spent the following year testing walking gear the way owners actually use it: on wet mornings, on narrow streets, with dogs that lunge at bikes and dogs that have never learned to walk beside anyone. Everything we now sell came out of that testing.

What we make

Walking equipment for dogs that pull. Our range covers the front-clip harness that started the brand, shock-absorbing and rope leads, everyday and tactical collars, and the small pieces that make a walk easier to carry, from bag holders to treat pouches. Each piece is sized and colour-matched to work with the rest, so a lead you add later still fits the harness you already own.

What makes us different

  • The clip is at the front. A back clip sits behind the shoulders, where a dog has the most power and the least reason to stop. Moving the attachment point to the chest turns forward pull into a gentle turn back towards you.
  • Fit before features. Padded chest plates, adjustment at four points, and a size range that covers a 4 kg terrier and a 45 kg mastiff. A harness that sits wrong is a harness that gets left in the hallway.
  • Built as a set. Harness, lead, collar and accessories share the same colourways and hardware, so the kit grows with you instead of turning into a drawer of mismatched gear.
  • Answered by people who walk dogs. Sizing questions, fit photos, "will this hold my husky" messages. Write to us and you get a real answer, not a template.

Who we are for

Owners who dread the first two minutes of every walk. People with a rescue that has never been taught to heel, a puppy that has just discovered its own strength, or a dog that is perfectly calm until a cat appears. If you have been changing equipment every few months hoping something sticks, you are exactly who we built this for.

Our mission

We want the walk to stop being the hard part of the day. Better equipment does not replace training, but it removes the daily struggle that makes training feel pointless, and it gives you back the twenty minutes outside that you and your dog are both supposed to enjoy.
